Gathering Sites are pick-up locations (schools, churches, local businesses) that are staffed by volunteers for a few hours each week during the delivery season where you pick up your co-op food order, exchange recipes, take or teach a cooking class, and make personal connections with neighbors and new friends. In exchange for distributing co-op orders in a safe and fun environment, a portion of every order delivered to the Gathering Site is contributed to the site or associated fundraiser. It seems like a little but it adds up to a lot - more than $35,000 annual contribution going directly back into our community! If you'd like to start your own SF2T Gathering Site, please contact us.
